Extensive eye exams
Our eye tests at home usually last between 30 to 40 minutes for us to check your eyes for any issues. We use high-tech equipment such as an optical coherence tomography (OCT) machine that helps us thoroughly assess the back of your eyes and make an accurate diagnosis of their health.
Using our OCT machine, we can detect early symptoms of eye diseases such as glaucoma and macular degeneration. Once we detect the symptoms, we will discuss the results with you and help you make informed decisions on managing these conditions early on.
Eye tests for kids
We highly recommend that you have your child’s eyes checked when they reach 3-years-old and once every year after that. Our opticians serving Mayfield conduct the eye test for your child in an easy and comfortable manner.
After the eye exam, we will discuss the results with you so that you can understand how to take care of your child’s eyesight. We will also take time to explain to older children the importance of taking care of their eyes.
